Q. How do I pair my smartwatch to my phone?
To connect & sync your smartwatch to your device, tap ADD from the Home page of the app to search for your iTouch Air 3. When pairing your smartwatch with the app, make sure that the MAC ADDRESS displayed on your smartwatch matches the MAC ADDRESS of the iTouch Air 3 on your app. To verify this information, tap and hold the watch screen for 3 seconds to display its MAC ADDRESS. Once your iTouch Air 3 is connected, it will say “Connected” on the top of the device page. To ensure complete connectivity, tap and hold the clock face of your smartwatch. You will see a Bluetooth icon on the bottom right-hand side of your smartwatch when it is paired with your device.
IMPORTANT: ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU ARE CONNECTING YOUR WATCH THROUGH THE APP FIRST, NOT YOUR PHONE’S BLUETOOTH.
Q. How do I turn up the brightness on my watch?
There are two ways to adjust the brightness on your watch:
1.) From the Settings menu on your iTouch Air 3, tap the brightness icon. Then tap again to begin adjusting the brightness by tapping your finger on the screen. Once you have set the brightness the way you like, tap the back button on the top left-hand corner to exit and save your changes.
2.) On the main clock face, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the quick toggle/notification panel. Then tap the brightness icon to adjust it.
Q. Can I adjust the time constraints for the Sedentary Reminder function?
While you can not adjust the time frame, this feature is active during the hours of 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
Q. What is the continuous heart rate feature?
While this feature is active, your smartwatch will continuously record your heart rate throughout the day. You can then view a graph of your heart-rate readings on the watch or by going to the app. The data will automatically sync with your app in the Continuous Heart Rate tab on the Homepage when your iTouch Air 3 is within the Bluetooth range of your smartphone. Note: To preserve the battery life of your smartwatch, turn off continuous heart rate detection.
Q: What is the elevated heart rate feature?
When active, you can choose a heart rate value you want to be reminded of. When the watch detects that you have reached this heart rate value, it will show you a notification on your watch. Note: To preserve the battery life of your smartwatch, turn this feature off.
Q. How do I start Sports Mode on my watch?
On your watch, swipe until you get to the Sports Mode/Workout Mode screen, then tap on it to enter. To select a sport and begin tracking Sports Mode data, tap on the desired mode. Then, tap on the GREEN button to start. Once the mode starts, you’ll have the ability to Pause it or Stop it completely.
Q: Why isn’t my Sports Mode data on my watch syncing to my app?
Sports Mode data will appear on your app once you have ended your activity. If you end a session in Sports Mode before 3 minutes has passed, data will not sync to your app. You need to log at least 3 minutes of activity in any mode for the data to appear in your app. You also need to have activity data on your device. If you have only heart rate data but no other data points, the activity will also not be saved. Workout/sports modes should also be done one at a time. After stopping one mode, ensure that the data is synced to the app first to ensure the data you have acquired will not be lost.
Q. Can I swim with my iTouch Air 3 smartwatch?
Yes. Your iTouch Air 3 is IP68 waterproof. While swimming, your smartwatch can withstand water up to 1 ATM (Approximately 10 meters deep for up to 30 minutes. These measurements are dependent on personal body metrics.
Q: What does IP68 mean?
IP68 means the device is waterproof for up to 30 minutes in about 10 meters (30 feet) of water.
Q: How can I set the alarm?
You can set the alarm from the app. Once you have set the alarms you want in the app, you can toggle them on and off via your watch or the app itself. To do this on your watch, navigate to the Clock application on your Air 3. Tap Alarms to see your current alarms and tap on the toggle slider in this section to turn the selected alarm off/on.
Q: Why won’t my alarm clock setting save?
Alarms cannot be set within 2 minutes of the current time. Your alarm clock will only save alarms that are 3 minutes after the current time.
Q: How do I view the weather for the week on my watch?
First, make sure that your watch is connected to your phone, and location access is allowed for the app. Then navigate to Additional Features on the iTouch Wearables app and go to the Weather section to set your location, otherwise, the correct weather will not show on your watch. You will need to enter your city and state in this section, for accurate updates. Once done, swipe to the weather screen on your watch. Tap once on the screen to display the weather forecast for multiple days. Your watch will show the weather forecast for 5 days and updates hourly.
Q. How do I turn off my watch?
From your smartwatch, navigate to the Power icon and tap on it to reveal the power menu. Simply tap the Power Off option and the device will shut off. You can also quickly access this screen by using the quick toggle/notification panel found on your device. From the watch face, just swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal this option and tap on the power icon found there.
Q. How do I turn my watch back on?
Press and hold the middle of the watch screen on your Air 3 for 3-5 seconds until you see the iTouch Air 3 logo appear on the watch screen.
Q. When measuring my heart rate from my smartwatch, the watch displays many different measurements. How do I know what my heart rate measurement is?
Your watch records several different heart rate measurements and when the watch vibrates, it is done measuring and will display a message stating ‘Recording Complete’. It will then take you to the second screen within the heart rate application on your watch where you can see the three most recently recorded heart rate values and when they were taken
This device records HR every single second of the day, so they cannot measure a heart rate. Rather, they can ‘Record’ a heart rate, which saves in app. It’s helpful for any users that have to monitor their hearts and want to record if it’s at an abnormal level.
Q. My smartwatch isn’t receiving notifications.
For Android users: Check that you have enabled the iTouch Wearables app to access your notifications. You can do this in your phone’s native settings menu or go to the device page in the app and click on ‘Notifications’ and then click the ‘Notification Access’ link. From the ‘Notifications’ page, you can toggle on all apps you wish to receive notifications for on your watch.
For iOS users: Go to the device page in the app and click on ‘Notifications’ to toggle on all apps you wish to receive notifications for on your watch.
Q: Why won’t my watch charge fully to 100%?
The voltage power for the charging output of your smartwatch must be 5V or less. We recommend using a laptop or desktop computer as the charging output for your smartwatch.
Q. How long will my watch stay charged after charging it?
Battery life is based on usage. Your smartwatch has a battery life of 30 days (standby time). If you use your watch often for notifications, sports mode, etc., your watch battery will not last as long.
Q. How do I erase all data on my smartwatch?
Factory Reset your smartwatch to clear all of the data on your smartwatch. To reset your watch, navigate to the Power menu, then tap the Reset option.
Q. My watch is not tracking data properly, what can I do to fix it?
If you can’t sync your iTouch Air 3, or if you have trouble with connected GPS or tracking your stats, you can restart your tracker from your wrist. From your smartwatch, navigate to the Power icon, then tap on it. This will reveal the power menu. Simply tap the ‘Restart’ option and your device will automatically restart.
Q. How do I take a picture with my smartwatch?
To snap photos using your iTouch Air 3, navigate to the Camera Remote feature on your smartwatch (If you are using an iOS device, you will also need to open the native camera app on your smartphone). Tap the Camera Remote feature on your smartwatch, or turn on the activate display after the wrist rotation feature in the app and rotate your wrist to snap a pic.
Q. How do I view my text and app notifications on my watch?
To view unopened messages and notifications on your iTouch Air 3, swipe to the Messages screen and tap to open. Select any notification you see and then swipe from right to left on your watch to read through the notification. Tap the back button to return to the main messaging screen that shows your 3 most recent notifications. As a shortcut, you can also swipe up from the bottom of the screen on the main clock face screen to view notifications.
Q: What is the hydration reminder for?
Once active, you will receive reminders to stay hydrated during the day. In the app, you can set your start and end times as well as how frequently you would like to be reminded. You can enable this feature by toggling the Enable Hydration Reminder in the Additional Features on the app.
Q: What is the hygiene assistant for?
Once active, you will receive reminders to wash your hands during the day. In the app, you can set your start and end times as well as how frequently you would like to be reminded. You can enable this feature by toggling the Enable Hygiene Assistant in the Additional Features on the app.
Q. How do I remove/change the straps on my smartwatch?
To change your strap, just follow these simple instructions:
1. To remove the current strap from your iTouch Wearables device, turn the watch face down and note the silver pins on the strap near the case. With your finger pull the pin to the left and gently pull the strap away from the watch. The strap should easily come detached from the watch.
2. To insert your new strap to your iTouch Watch, line up the steady pin with the hole on the base of the case.
3. While carefully holding the strap in place, pull the lever on the strap to retract the pin-down and position the strap against the case to line up the pin before releasing the lever so the pin snaps in place.
4. Repeat these steps for the other strap.
Q. How long can I wear my watch?
We recommend removing your watch from your wrist at least once per day to clean your watch’s straps.
Q. How do I clean the band on my Smartwatch?
We recommend cleaning your band and wrist regularly - especially after intense workouts or sweating. Rinse the band with water or wipe it with a small amount of rubbing alcohol. Do NOT use hand soap, dish soap, hand sanitizer, cleaning wipes or household cleaners, which could get trapped beneath the band and irritate your skin. Always pat dry the band before putting it back on.
Q. Can my watch play music?
No. However, you can use the Music Remote feature on your watch as a remote to control the music on your phone. To remotely control music from your smartwatch, navigate to the music feature on the iTouch Air 3. The music remote allows you to play/pause, skip forward, or skip to previous music from your music apps. Your iTouch Air 3 is compatible with various applications such as Apple Music, Spotify, and Pandora. However, it may not support other third-party applications.
Q. How do I turn on the motion gesture or my watch?
Go to Additional Features on the device page of the iTouch Wearables app and enable the Activate Display After Wrist Rotation function. By clicking on Active Time, you can control the time in which this feature is active throughout the day. If you want this feature to always be on, set the time constraints to be 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM. Using this feature will consume more battery.
Q: Can I talk on my watch when I get a phone call?
Our newer models are designed to have longer battery life, hence, we have not included some features from our previous models that are found to be battery-consuming such as the calling feature.
Q: Can I reply to text messages?
No. Our watches are currently built to only receive notifications at this time.
Q. Why won’t my Downloaded Watch Face display on my watch when I click on it?
If you reset your watch after downloading the watch face, you will need to re-download that watch face to display it on your watch.
Q. How do I set my language on my watch?
Go to the device settings in the app. Click on the “Additional Features” tab and tap “Language” to select a language. Click “Done” to save that language and your watch will automatically update. If your watch is not connected to your phone through the app yet, you will have to reset the watch. You will be prompted to select your desired language when it powers up again.
Q. How do I set the time on my watch?
You do not have to set the time on your watch. Once you pair your watch with the app on your phone, your watch automatically syncs the correct time from your phone.
Q. What app do I use with my iTouch Air 3 watch?
Use the iTouch Wearables app to pair with your iTouch Air 3 smartwatch.
Q. How do I change the Home screen clock face on my watch?
Go into the app, and tap on the watch symbol on the dashboard. Then tap on Watch Faces to customize the Home screen clock face on your watch.
Q. When I rotate my wrist, the watch screen does not turn on. How do I activate this feature?
In the app, tap on the watch symbol on the dashboard. Then tap on Additional Features. Scroll down to the “Activate Display After Wrist Rotation” section. Toggle on the button next to Activate Display After Wrist Rotation to turn this feature on. By clicking on Active Time, you can control the time in which this feature is active throughout the day. If you want this feature to always be on, set the time constraints to be 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
Q. How do I change the language on my smartwatch?
In the app, go to the device page and tap Additional Features. Tap Language to change the language on your smartwatch. Choose from a variety of languages.
Q. How do I change the unit of measurement on my smartwatch?
In the app, go to the device page and tap Additional Features. Tap Unit Format to change the units of measurement reflected on your smartwatch and in your app. Choose between the metric and imperial systems of measurement.
Q. My watch keeps disconnecting from the app, how do I fix this?
First, tap the ‘Remove’ button on the device page in the app to remove your smartwatch from the app and disconnect it from your phone. To disconnect your watch from your phone, go to your phone’s native Bluetooth settings page, and remove your watch from the Bluetooth list by clicking on the icon on the right of the device name and then hit on “Unpair/Forget”.Then, delete the app and redownload it from the app store. After that, you will have to reset your watch, just navigate to the Power icon, then tap the Reset option. Then, pair your smartwatch to the app. - iOS and Android are a bit different. You don’t have to go into BT native settings on Android. I think this needs to be split for iOS and Android users.
Q: Can I pair another watch to the app?
We can only pair one watch at a time to our pairing app. If you want to connect another watch, you may do so by disconnecting the first watch from the app. Then, ensure that you unpair or forget the device from your phone's Bluetooth settings for easier re-connection. After that, restart the watch to refresh its system. You can then proceed with pairing your second watch to the app and repeat the same steps if you are ready to pair your first watch.
