Scenario:
My iTouch Air SE/iTouch Air 3/iTouch Sport 3 randomly changes the language to a foreign language! How do I resolve this?
Resetting your smartwatch should resolve this. It will restore your watch to factory settings, which will update the language on your smartwatch to English.
How to reset your watch:
1. On the main clock face of your smartwatch, swipe down from the top of the screen. Then, tap the power icon.
2. After tapping the power icon, it will give you three options. These options will be in a different language. Please check the screenshots below for reference. The third button is the Reset button (see the screenshot on the right for the English translation). Tap it to initiate factory reset.
Once you reset your smartwatch, it will briefly disconnect and then reconnect back to your smartphone.
To confirm this, open the iTouch Wearables app, and hit the device icon at the upper-right hand corner of the screen. Under “Device” it should show your smartwatch model and the word “Connected” underneath it. See the screenshot below as an example:
If you are unable to locate your device and/or verify if your watch is connected in the app, please check your phone’s Bluetooth menu. If your watch is there, please disconnect your watch from your phone’s Bluetooth.
Once done, please then go into your iTouch Wearables app, and hit the device icon in the upper right hand corner. Once hit, you should be able to select your watch from the menu of available devices. See the photos below for reference:
Once done, you should be all set. Your watch should be fully connected and in English.
